Marion Gathegu Ngatia Ndirangu

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance to God’s will that we announce the passing on of Marion Gathegu Ngatia Ndirangu, which occurred on 8th February, 2023.

Daughter of the late Johnstone Gikandi Kamwaro and the late Eunice Wangari Gikandi of Tumutumu. Daughter-in-law to the late Mr and Mrs Moses Ndirangu Ngatia of Kiandu.

Wife to the late Ethan Ngatia Ndirangu. Mother to Patrick Ndirangu, Anne Maina, John Gikandi and Eva Muriithi. Mother-in-law to Michael Maina and Daniel Muriithi. Grandmother to Martin, Pauline, Diana, Olunga, Kimani, Kariuki and Ngatia. Great-grandmother to several children.

Her siblings are; Peterson Kamwaro, the late Epafara Kimunyu, the late Faith Gakonyo, the late Anna Wachira, the late Crispus Karingithi, the late Martha Mwai, Lydia Gikandi, A.J Kariuki, Bilha Mbau, Charity Ngatia and Grace Macharia.

Sister-in-law to Njeri, Kihonge, Koori, Irungu,Wachira, George, James, Macharia the late Nderitu, the late Theuri, the late Nyori, the late Mwangi, the late Mwai, the late Kiru, the late Wanjohi.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Kingongo and her daughter’s home in Utawala -Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements at 5.00pm daily.

The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home – Nyeri on Friday 17th February, 2023 at 8:00am for a funeral service at St. Peter ACK Church, from 10.00am and thereafter burial will be held at her home in Kingongo.
