Marion Watetu Ndegwa
It is with profound sorrow and God’s will that we announce the demise of Marion Watetu Ndegwa (formerly of Kenya Commercial Bank) that occurred on 27th July 2018.
She was the beloved wife of John Ndegwa Muraya. Mother of Anthony & Geni Muraya, Joe & Wambui Mbarire, Clement & Millicent Ndiritu, Charles & Njeri Ndungu and Stephen & Seyian Wachira. Grandmother of Hugh, Andrew, Maryann, Christian, Cindy, Daniel, Nyambura, Leshan, Makena, Leo and Sein. Daughter of the late Joseph Mbarire and the late Miriam Wangechi of Gathuthi village, Thegenge location, Nyeri county. Daughter-in-law of the late Stefano Muraya, the late Ngima & the late Wairimu of Mathakwaini village, Thegenge location, Nyeri county. Sister of the late Ndungu, late Ndirangu, Catherine, Karimi, late Njambi, Wangui and Ndiritu. Sister-in-law of Duncan, Wanjiru, Leah, Karuiru, Wangare, Kibue, Njeri and Gladys.
Friends and family are meeting at her home in Tena estate, Nairobi and at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from 30th July to 2nd August 2018 @ 5.30pm.
There will be a requiem mass on Friday 3rd August at St Theresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, Tena @ 12pm.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University mortuary on Saturday 4th August 2018 @ 7am for a funeral mass at Mathakwaini Catholic Church and burial thereafter in Mathakwaini.
