With profound sorrow and humble experience of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Mark Stephen Owala Awuor on 7th October 2022.

Loving son of the late Mr. Martin Awuor and the late Mrs. Alice Awuor of Nyamninia Gem, Siaya.

Husband to Cecilia Awino Okwaro. Son-in-law to the late James Okwaro and Truphosa Ndeda Okwaro of Kalanyo Soso East Gem Yala. Father to Alex Akello Awuor.

Brother to Margaret Stanley, Aluoch Ooro, Dr. Anne Owuor, the late Chris Awuor, the late Samuel Awuor, Beatrice Awuor, Donald Awuor, Allan Owiti Awuor & Timothy Awuor.

Brother-in-law to the Kokwaros, the late Arthur Stanely, the late James Ooro, Dr. Walter Ogony, Vivian Chiku Orido, Anne Njeri, the late Paul Oduor, Nellie Kalunda, Sarah Wangari, and Vivian Mwabili.

Doting uncle to Arthur Omondi, Onunga Ooro, Dr. Andrew Owuor, Willis Owuor, Isaac Owuor, Mike Owuor, Richard Orido, Susan Orido, Alvin Onyango, Samantha Onyango, Martin Luther Oduor, Leon Wamari, Kevin Wamari, Ryan Wamari, Lawrence Wamari, Martin Luther, Alice Mwikali, Tim Thieth, and Emma Akello.

Cousin to the Orondos, Musandus, Yiembes, Ondieges, Olungas, Amolos, Warambos and Wamaris amongst others as well as a treasured nephew, cousin, and friend to many.

Meetings are being held daily at his house in Tena Estate, Nairobi for prayers & funeral arrangements from 4.00 pm.

There will be a fundraising on Tuesday, 18th October 2022 at 5.00pm at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, 20th October 2022 at 12noon All Saints Cathedral Nairobi.

The burial service will take place on Saturday, 22nd October from 10.00a.m. in Nyamninia Gem Yala.
