It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs Martha Njeri Thondu, a retired High School Teacher at Gitura Secondary School, following a short illness on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
Wife to Mr Benson Humphrey Thondu. Daughter of the late Mzee Gilbert Thuo Riunge and the late Elishipha Nyambura Thuo.
Mum to Rachael Nyambura, Alex Kimani, Gilbert Thuo. Mum-in-law to Dennis Kabaiku and Ann Wanjira. Cucu to Liam Kabaiku and Maxwell Irungu.
Sister to the late Tabitha Wairimu, the late Grace Wambui, the late Nelius Wanjiru, the late Faith Muthoni, the late Simon Kuria, the late Samuel Mwangi and the late Jeremiah Karaba. She leaves behind beloved brothers; Naftali Thuo and Elizaphan Kairu. Sister-in-law to the Thondu family.
Relatives, friends and colleagues are meeting daily at her home in Kiayatta from 6.00pm – 8.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The funeral service will be held at CCM Kiboi Catholic Church and thereafter burial will be held at her home in Kiayatta Village, Kahuro, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 11.00am.
We loved you, but our Father in heaven loved you more. In our hearts you will live forever.
