Martha Wabiu Mwaura

It is with sorrow that we announce the passing on of Martha Wabiu Mwaura on 12/03/2019 after short illness.

Daughter of the late Karige and Wairimu Karige. Beloved wife of the late Gideon Kihara Njuguna. Mother of Karige Kihara of Rongai, Mary Njeri (Nanyuki), Mwalimu Samson Njuguna (Ruiru), John Njau of KPLC, Beatrice Wairimu-Eldoret, Samuel Kuria (Tuskys), Damaris Ngendo (Kayole), Joseph Waihuro (Gidy) of Gids Connections (Sagret, Nairobi), Peter Kamau (Maduka Exhibition, Nairobi). Sister of the late Ann Wacu, Agnes Wanjiru and the late Mary Njoki. Mother-in-law of Maingi, Jedidah, Eunice Wagechi, Elder Ruth Mwaura, Elizabeth, Gachema, Susan Wangari and Mary Waithera. Grandmother and great -grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral preparations at her home in Kimangu, Rongai, Nakuru, Abbey Hotel, Nairobi and PCEA, Zimmerman.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Hospital on Wednesday 20th March, 2019 at 8.00am. Funeral service will be held at her home Kimangu, Rongai, Nakuru, at 10.00am.
