Martha Wanjiku Mwangi

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Martha Wanjiku Mwangi of Martha’s Design (Thika) Bahati Ridge on 17 May 2023.

She was the loving wife of the late Kennedy Mwangi Mbatia. Loving mother to Charlene Wanjiku, Jameson Mbatia and Julius Kiai.

Beloved daughter to the late Julius Kiai Nytmu and Ruth Njeri Kiai. Daughter in love to Prof. Ole Mbatia and Virginia Wanjiku.

Loving Sister to: Margaret & Peter Karanja, Dr. Kamau & Jane Kiai, Joseph & Susan Chege, Daniel Maina, Mugure Kiai, Jane & Juma Makopa. Adored niece to many, auntie to many, cherished grandmother, loving cousin and friend to many.

Friends and Family are meeting daily concurrently at 5.00pm at All Saints Catherderal Nairobi , Nyari Estate, Bendor & Bahati Ridge in Thika.

The cortege shall leave KU University Memorial Funeral Home on 26 May 2023 at 7.00am and the funeral service will be held at the family home in Gitui Village,Weithaga Location in Muranga County from 10.00am followed by the interment.

2 Timothy 4:7-8: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord,  the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.”
