It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Martin Kiige Wanjiru that occurred on Wednesday 9th October 2019 after a long battle with Brain Tumour.

Son of Margaret Wanjiru Gitau. Brother of Brenda Muringe of (Massachusetts – USA). Grandson of the late Mr. Hezron Gitau Thomas and the late Mrs. Esther Njeri Gitau. Nephew of Mr. Thomas Njuguna and Mrs. Joyce Njuguna, Mr. Gichimu Gitau & Mrs. Margaret Gichimu, Mrs. Rose Kanyingi & Mr. Charles Kanyingi, Mrs Nancy Njoki Muhoro & Mr. Washington Muhoro, the late Olive Waitherero and Mrs. Jane Muthoni Kimotho & Mr. Job Kimotho. Cousin of Gitau, Njeri, Muthoni & Wanjiru Thomas, Gitau, Eric & Dennis Gichimu, Muthoni & Njeri Kanyingi, Mwangi, Wairimu & Njeri Muhoro, Ngure & Jimmy Kimotho.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his mother’s home Gakira, Kiria, Mugoiri in Muranga County up to 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Muranga County Mortuary on Wednesday 16th October 2019 at 8.00am followed by funeral service and interment at his mother’s home in Gakira, Kiria starting at 11.00am where he will be laid to rest the same day.
