Martin Mwenda Nkonge (M’Mwamba)

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Martin Mwenda Nkonge (M’Mwamba) formerly of Amref Health Africa. He rested on Thursday, 7th April, 2022.

Son of the Late Bernard Nkonge M’Mwamba, the late Gladys Mwarania and Step-son to Pamela Nkirote Nkonge.

Beloved Husband to Joyce Kinya of World Concern Development Organisation, loving father to Kay Gatwiri, Nelly Kathambi and Tracy Kanana.

Brother to George Kinoti (Australia), Robert Kinyua, Edwin Muchai (Australia), Catherine Mutembei and Step- brother to Nicholas Nyaga.

Nephew to John Mugambi (Australia), Bridget Mutea, Lucy Mukaria, Jediel Mwiti and Late Prudence Kahare, Erastus Kinyua and Elipheiet Kamundi.

Son-in-law to Joseph Marimba and the late Monica Marimba. Brother-in-law to many. He was a cousin and uncle to many.

He will be immensely missed by his family, many friends and colleagues.

Funeral arrangements are being held at his home in Membley Phase 2, every day from 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital along Northern bypass, Kahawa West on Tuesday, 19th April, 2022, at 6am and thereafter burial at Ithimbari village in Meru County.

Blessed are those who rest in the Lord. In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you remain forever till we meet again. Amen.
