Mary Karimi Mutuku

2nd September, 1962 – 27th December, 2021  

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mary Karimi Mutuku.

Cherished wife of Philip Mutuku Muya, Loving mother to Gloria Muthoni, Elsie Nkatha and the late Rita Mumbua. Daughter to Retired Senior Chief Daniel Murungi & the late Zaveria Murungi. Sister to the late Joseph Murungi, John Gitonga, Betty Kaimuri, Dr. James Mwenda, Pamela Gitonga, George Mungiria and Consolata Mwiti.

Daughter-in-law to James Muya and Elizabeth Muya. Sister-in-law to Joyce Murungi, Peter Ireri, David Gitonga, Dr. Grace Mwenda, Mary Gaita, the late Charles Mwiti, Rev. Dr. Peter Muya, Susan Mumbua, Ann Wanjiku, Naomi Mwikali and Shadrack Maingi. Aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Friends & family are meeting daily at their home (Katelembo, Machakos) from 4pm till Wednesday 5th January 2022.

There will be a requiem mass on Tuesday, 4th January 2022 at 2pm at the family home (Katelembo, Machakos).

Burial mass & internment takes place on Thursday, 6th January 2022 at their home. All Covid-I9 protocols will be observed.

In your one lifetime you touched so many lives. Your love & commitment is forever unforgettable.
