Mary Marube Metobo

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the resting of Mrs. Mary Marube Metobo, the founder of Motherly Care Children’s Home (MCCH) on November 24th, 2018 in Fremont, California after a long illness.

Daughter of the late Evangelist of Nyanchwa Mission — Mzee Harun Ogwoka Mogaka and the late Elisheba Moraa. Wife of the late Zachary Metobo Nyakundi. Mother of Tracy Nyaboke, Dr. Sammy Gichaba, Beverly Moraa, Varelie Kemunto, Robin Onserio, Brenda Bonareri and Willis Nyakundi. Mother-in-law of Hon. Patrick Osero, Catherine Mureithi Metobo, Oscar Ongeri, Howard Harrison and James Masese.

Friends and Family are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at her South B home – Mariakani Gardens Block D Door 56.

The main fundraising will be held at Sixeighty Hotel on 11th December, 2018 at Taj Palace Hall from 5:00pm to prepare her send off.

The body arrives in Kenya on 13th December; Church service will be conducted in Nairobi South SDA Church on Friday 14th December 2018 at 10:00a.m.

The Burial service to be held at her Motherly Care Children’s Home – Ruai on 17th December
