We accept God’s will as we announce the passing of Mary Muringi Kibe of Keeni Village, Mbiu-ini sub location, Gakindu Location, Nyeri County. She passed away on Tuesday, June 21st, 2023 after battling cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer).
Mary is survived by her husband, retired Elder Augustine Kibe Kabugu. She was mother to James Maina, Julia Wanjiku, John Irungu, Joyce Muthoni, Jane Wahito, Joseph Mwangi and Jedidah Wanjiru.
She was mother-in-law to Elizabeth Wangui (late), Peter Wainaina, Anne Wambui, Jonathan Maina, Jotham Gakuo (late), John Kariuki and Joan Wanjugu.
She was grandmother to Austin, Maryline, Kibe, Stephanie, Dorcas, Wangui, Njeri, Faith, Shiko, Waithaka, Mwangi, Jeff, Joy, Jamie, Sammy, Gashiko, Muringi, Kibe, Kihara, Murage, Angela, Bryson and Clayton
She was the daughter to Ibrahim Kanini(late) and Joyce Njoki Kanini(late), and daughter in law to Bernard Kabugu (late) and Tel esia Njoki Kabugu (late).
She was the sister to Boniface Muturi, Eliud Waithaka (late), Elder Pauline Wanjiru, Erastus Gichuru, Purity Wangari and Stephen Maina. She was the sister-in-law to Dominic Mbuthia (late), Peter Gikingo, Bridget Wahito and Clement Wakaba (late).
The cortege leaves Thika Road Montezuma Funeral Home in Kabati on Tuesday, 27th June, 2023 at 7. 00am.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Monday, 26th June, 2023 in the Main Sanctuary of St. Andrews PCEA Church, Nairobi.
The funeral service will take place at Kagarii PCEA church at 10:00 am followed by the burial at her home in Keeni village.
