Mary Muthoni Githu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mary Muthoni Githu (Mrs. Methu) of 20 Acres Farm – Molo, which occurred on 31st August 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Gilgil, Nakuru County.

Wife of the late Bernard Githu Methu. Daughter of the late Simeon Mirara Kimari and the late Ceciliah Wairimu Mirara. Mother of Keziah Njeri (Head Teacher- Mak Peter Primary School), Janet Wairimu (Kenya Forest Service), Priscillah Wanjiru (Teacher-Mau Summit Primary School), David Methu (ACC’s Office Molo), Dr. Alex Mirara (Kenya School of Government), Ann Wanjiru (Nakuru County Govt.), James Kimari (Molo), Phyllis Mukina (Teacher- Mt. St. Mary’s Primary School) and Nicholas Kuria (Manager- Kiganjo Youth Polytechnic).

Sister to Samson Kimari Mirara, Ann Wanjiru, Wandia Karanja and Susan Watiri.

Mother-in-law to John Kariuki, David Kamau, Hannah Wanjugu, Caroline Mweru, Moses Mwaniki, Monicah Wahu, the late Gabriel Waweru and Tabitha Njeri. Grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was aunt to many.

The cortege leaves St. Joseph Funeral Home in Molo Town at 8:00am on Friday, 9th September, 2022. Both requiem mass and burial will be held at her home in 20 Acres Farm in Molo, Nakuru County starting from 11:00am.
