Daughter of the late Jervasio Nduati Mutegi and the late Liberata Wangari Nduati.
Wife of the late Edward Kamau Gichuru. Mother of Consolata Wangari, Susan Wanjiru, Paul Nduati, Samuel Thiong’o, David Kamau, Pauline Wangui and Thomas Chege.
Sister of the late Thomas Mutegi, Pauline Wangui Macharia, the late Cecilia Njoki Karuri. Step-sister of Thomas Mutegi, the late Charles Gicharu, Peter Muya, lsaack Mwangi, Gabriel Kabul, Godfrey Maina, John Kamau, Paul Macharia, Joseph Muniu, Mary Wangari and Edward Magera.
She was mother in law of Joyce Nyambura, Nancy Wanjiku, Mercy Wainoi, Sarah Njeri, Sabina Wangari, Solomon Mugo Gakuo, Daniel Mbogo Mahugu and Martine Wahome. She was a grandmother to many and a great grandmother to one.
The body is lying at Mwai Kibaki Funeral Home Othaya. Burial date will be on Thursday 29/01 /2026 at her home Muirungi village in Chinga Othaya at 10.00 am.
Daily meetings are going on at Silent Lodge in Othaya Town at 7.00pm and her home Muirungi at 3.00pm.
