Appreciation

We the family of The late Mary Muthoni Mwai, wish to express our appreciation, first to our God for the wonderful life we shared with a matriarch, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and auntie. She had a life full of purpose, drive, and love.

Special thanks go to His Excellency the Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua and Her Excellency the Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, for the unequalled support and love for mum, Hon.Wahome Wamatangi Senator Nyeri county, members of parliament and heads of parastatals who graced the occasion, Ruguru Ward MCA Hon. Erastus Karanja and his colleagues, local administration under Senior Chief Mr. Muhoro not forgetting Dr. Wanene and Coptic Hospital, who have been treating mom whenever she had health challenges, the tireless work of the two teams of committee members of Nairobi and Hiriga, The leadership of Hiriga PCEA Church, Muteero PCEA Church – Karen and the Team of Clergy from the many denominations that graced the occasion, and to Helen Mwihaki who served mum with love for more than three years.

We were deeply touched by the consolation and care extended to our family, by relatives, friends, and colleagues. On the same note, we were deeply moved by the community that turned out in big numbers to pay last respect to mum.

While it is not possible to thank each person individually for the support given in diverse ways, we take this opportunity to appreciate you and pray that the Almighty God will bless every one of you abundantly for the love, kindness, prayers and support that you showered upon us.
