Mary Njeri Maina

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved, Mary Njeri Maina, that occurred on Saturday, 2nd April, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late Paul Waithaka and the late Milka Mumbi.

She is the beloved wife of Bishop James Maina Waraga of Oasis of Joy Church.

Cherished mother of Hannah Muthoni, Samuel Waraga, Reuben Waithaka, Paul Maina (Pablo) and Nancy Mumbi; together with their spouses.

Sister to the late Kenneth Kimani, Peris Wanjiku, the late Archbishop Francis Njuguna, the late Margaret Njoki, Hannah Waceke, Bishop John Gicia and Agnes Wanjiru.

She was a doting grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Ruiru, Mugutha, for prayers and funeral
arrangements

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary, Thika Road – on Friday 8th April, 2022 at 8:00am.

The funeral service will be held at Oasis of Joy Church – Mugutha (the Google coordinates for the church as -1.1103835, 36.9500722) and thereafter interment will be held at her home.
