It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Mrs Mwalimu MaryWanjiku Mukiri (Wajoe) which occurred on Thursday, 27th April 2023.

Mary was the loving wife to Samuel Mukiri Ngotho. Beloved mother to Joe and Beth Kago (Tatu City), Cyrus and Nancy Ngotho (UK), Regina Mweru Mukiri (Standard Chartered Bank), the late Peter and Michelle Kamau (Kasarani), Esther and Abraham Mukono (UK), the late Samuel Mburu and Anne and Dan Kinungi (UK). She was blessed with additional children — Fidelis and Geoffrey Kamita( Ngochi) Reuben and Sarah Muturi (UK), Erastus and Ruth Ngotho (USA).

She was a dotting grandmother to Marian, Keith, Shawn, Darren, Tasha, Karl, Jason, Sam Zack, Leo, Kayla, Mary Joy, Allison, Sam Shiku, Ruth,Vanessa, and Marisa amongst others.

She was a daughter of the late Rev Daniel and Esther Kago and daughter-in-law to the late Erastus & Rahab Ngotho.

She was a treasured sister to the late Samuel and Lucy Mburu, Hannah and the late David Karanu, George and the late Elizabeth Wambui, Cecilia and the late Isaac Mukaru, Clement and Lucy Kamau and Alice and Gibson Mwangi.

Sister-in-law to Lucy and the late Elijah Kamau,Titus and Margaret Gitau, the late Ruth Wanjiru, the late Isaac and Grace Kaniu and Mary and Benson Maina. She was a cherished auntie and friends to many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Githunguri town next to Gateway Academy, for prayers and to pay tributes daily at 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home Githunguri at 9.00am on Friday, 5th May 2023. Celebration service will be held at PCEA Githunguri Church (Kwa Mukua) at 10.00am followed by burial at her home next to Gateway Academy, Githunguri.
