Mary Wanjiru Ihomba

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mary Wanjiru Ihomba which occurred on 19th August 2019 at Avenue Hospital, Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Ngungu and the late Kagure. Wife of Lazaro Ihomba Thumbi. Mother of Keziah Wanjiku (Nguirubi Sec. School), Isaac Maina (Roast House), the late Peninah Wambui, Samuel Ngungu, Daniel Ngotho, David Kamau, Grace Wakarindi, Ruth Mwaniki (Ngecha), Paul Kagwi, Susan Githiomi (Kikuyu) and Anne Ihomba (Muna Place)

Sister of the late Kamau, the late Muraya, Wairimu, Wahito and Wanjiku. Mother-in-law of Cecilia Maina, Joseph Kimani, Irene Ngungu, Wanjiru Ngotho, George Mwaniki, Njambi Kagwi and David Githiomi. A grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at their family home in Muna/Kiawaroga.

The cortege will leave Uplands Funeral Home on Friday 23rd August, 2019 at 9:00am and proceed to Kiawaroga/ Muna (Limuru sub-county) for service and burial at home.
