Mary Wanjunu Mbugua

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of MaryWanjunu Mbugua of Kanyore village, Kambaa Githunguri on 9th September, 2022.

Beloved daughter of the late John Kimani and the late Hannah Njeri. Daughter-in-law to the late Stephen Karanja Thiongo and the late Grace Wanja Karanja.

Wife to the later Peter Mbugua. Mother to Gilbert and Mary Karanja, George and Grace Wainaina, John and Susan Kimani, Simon and Hannah Kinyanjui and Naomi Wambui. Adoring grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Sister to Esther Wamaitha, the late Mbugua, Ngige, Njau, Mungai,Wairimu and Gaciru. Sister-in-law to the late Peter and Nancy Mburu, Edwin and the late Naomi Muniu, Charles and Margaret Njoroge, Edith Karanja, the late Muthoni, the late Kibe and Monica Nyagecai.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Kambaa, Kanyore village Githunguri and Kasuku Close, Bogani Road – Karen, from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 15th September, 2022 at 8.00am. Funeral mass will take place at PCEA Gathangari Church, Githunguri from 10.00am and burial to follow at her home in Kanyore Village.
