Master Caesar Brian Owino Rew

We are saddened to announce the passing on of Master Caesar Brian Owino Rew which occurred under unknown circumstances at a social place on 7th July 2018 in Kisumu City.

Son of Prof. Francis Owino Rew of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology and Mrs. Truphosa Atieno Rew of Kisumu Girls High School. Brother of Vera Hadassah Owino (Kenya School of Law) and Cindy Joyce Owino (Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology). Grandson of Mzee Zachariah Oyola Ogwe and Mama Dina Ajwang’ Oyola of Wasio Village, Suna East Location, Migori County.

Nephew of Elisha Ojwang’ Orodo, Mahira Oguyo, John Wambura, Principal Chief Ambrose Ogema, Orodo Korodoh, Paul Okoth, Cornelius Bwangi Oyola, Elisha Onyango Oyola, Pastor Mathew Kwasi Oyola, Grace Arende Olando, Alice Raila Kombonya, Mary Aduol Omolo, Milka Nyanjong’, John Oyoo Oyola. Gertrude,Asenath, and Tabitha among others.

Cousin of Joseph Otieno Ndege, Dedan Ojwang’, Walter Ombere, Neema Ndege, Pamela Akinyi Korodoh, Millicent Korodoh, Grace Anyumba, Isaac Mahira,Antony Korodoh, John Odongo Ojwang., Elijah Mahira, Tom Ojwang’ and Jeconiah Onyango Midodo, among others. Brother-in-law of Elizabeth Nyamaganda, Elizabeth Oguyo, and Helen Ndege among others.

The body is at the Aga Khan Hospital Morgue, Kisumu.

Funeral preparations are taking place at home in Usenge Village, West Yimbo in Bondo Sub-county.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan on 27th at 10.00am for a requiem mass at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church Kibuye.

Burial will be on Saturday 28th July at their home in Usenge.
