Matriarch Grace Wanja Karebe

We announce the demise of Matriarch Grace Wanja Karebe, who passed away peacefully on the evening of 18/04/2023 at the age of 97 Years.

Wife of the late James Karebe. Mother of the late Major Kahugu Karebe and Sylvia Muthoni, Margaret Mbari and Alex MacDonald, Kimani Karebe and Lucy Mumbi, Mary Nyambura and the late David Adebayo, Chris Kinya Karebe (Doc) and Laura Waithira, the late Gathee Karebe, Mary Wanjiru and the late Sam Korir, Schola Karebe and the late Sam Gatukui. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Daily meetings are ongoing at her residence in South C from 4pm.

Cucu Wanja will be laid to rest on Tuesday, 2nd May 2023. There will be a viewing at Montezuma Monalisa funeral home at 8.00am, followed by a funeral mass at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish South C at 9.00am, and thereafter cucu Wanja will be laid to rest at her home in Riuki Kiambu from 2.00pm.
