It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Maurice Jone Oduor Juma (Former DG, Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) that occurred on the 10th July, 2022 after a short but devastating illness.

Son of the late Joannes Juma Oyugi and the late Anna Akum Owoho Juma and the late Monica Juma. Loving husband to Rose Amagove. Father to Anne Sherkinah Juma, Cate Juma and Cathy Juma. Step-father to Eddah, Ren and Kevin.

He was a caring brother to the late Luka Juma, the late Charles Juma, Patrick Omondi, Chrispine Juma (Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation), Vincent Juma (Nairobi Water), Anthony Juma (UNON), Abubakar Juma (Teachers Service Commission), the late Grace Juma,William Juma, Erastus Juma, Evelyne Juma, Judith Achieng Ogonjo (Lang’ata High School), Beatrice A. Juma (NTSA), Carolyne A. Juma (Nairobi County), Mary Lucy Auma, Joseph Juma, Alfred Juma, Daniel Juma and Peter Juma.

He was a supportive uncle to Christopher, Anna, Elias, Emma, Emmanuel, Amani, Valyne, Wendy,Tatiana,Taylor, Monica, Renne, Churchill, Calvin, Dylan, Djibril, Leila, Ruby, Abigail, Rodney, Daryl and King. Grand-uncle to Abigail, Juliana and Jabari.

Brother-in-law to late Julia Ochieng, Samuel Oginga, Eunice Lawino, Carolyne, Crispine Olita, Rehema All and Simon Otieno, James Kibuchi Njoroge and Sylvia Atieno.

Friends and Family will be meeting at his house in Waterfront Garden Estate – Loresho as well as at the family home in Kaloleni, Nairobi (F15), next to Kaloleni Dispensary.

He will be buried on 23rd July, 2022 at his farm in Nyalenya Sub-location, Ligingo Village in North Ugenya Sub-county.

A major fundraising is planned for 19th July, 2022 at All Saints Cathedral.
