We hold yout in our heart and prayer at this difficult time. Maybe God give you the courage you require to go through.
Indeed heartbreaking news! Maurice was down to earth, a true gentleman and a great friend of the Ogola family. My sincere condolences to the entire Odundo family. Till we meet again.
The news and loss of a loved one stops you in your tracks and chills you to realty. As you wish if only I had seen more of them, laughed more and enjoyed more of their company it hits you that it is final here on earth. Darling brother Maurice, I looked at your card the week before you went away and remembered we were supposed to have lunch to catch up but this did not come to pass. However, I will forever continue to hold you dear and pray that God will strengthen and comfort your entire family. Fare thee well and Rest In Peace.
The following quote captures what kind of a human being Maurice was;
“I shall pass through this world but once, any good therefore that i can do, or any kindness that i can show to any human being, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for i shall not pass this way again”.
Till we meet again.
Oh no!… This is a shock. God is in control. I pray Maurice’s family and the Odundo family that God give you all strength and peace that surpasses understanding during this trying time. Fare thee well Maurice. You were a pillar and friend to me and many. Rest with the angels in the presence of the Lord.
Humble man .May the almighty rest your soul in eternal peace
You were my mentor. I admired your profession. You advised me on education matters.. You appear in my CV as my referee (reference). You were so humble so approachable such a father figure. This is so sad. May you rest in peace. May God be with your family.
Rest in Eternal Peace Maurice. You were a down to earth person. Poleni sana the Odundos
“Death be not proud,though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think’st thou dost overthrow
Die not,poor Death,nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more flow
And soonest our best men with thee go,
Rest of their bones and soul’delivery.
Thou art slave to fate,chance,kings,and desperate men,
And dost with poison,war and sickness dwell
And poppy or chams can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke;why swell’s thou then?
One short sleep past,we wake eternally
And death shall be no more.
Death thou shalt die.”
