Mbugua Mungai

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mbugua Mungai of Mwimuto, Lower Kabete at Karen Hospital on 3 August 2017.

Son of the late Paul Mungai Kiguru and the late Rose Gathoni Kiguru. Ex-husband of Elizabeth Wanjiru. Father of Alvin Mungai Mbugua and Brian Ngunjiri Mbugua. Father in law of Freda Kithinji and grandfather of Natalie Wanjiru Mungai, Lily Naitore Mungai and Anton Mbugua Mungai. Brother to George Kamau, Eliud Nganga, Eunice Ngina Nderitu, Irene Waithera, James Ng’ang’a, Githuku Kihuru, K.N. Mungai, Gitungo Mungai, Damaris Waithira, the late Elizabeth Wangui Wamanji and the late Wilson Kibe Mungai among other step brothers and sisters.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Mwimuto home in Lower Kabete. There are also meetings at United Kenya Club (opposite the University of Nairobi and St. Pauls Catholic Church) on Monday, 7 August 2017 and Wednesday, 9 August 2017 from 5 pm. The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Friday, 11 August 2017 at 9 am and will be followed by a funeral service at 11am at ACK St John Mwimuto before burial at his home in Mwimuto.
