Mercy Akinyi Odaa – Wright

It is with deep sorrow, sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of our beloved Mercy Akinyi Odaa – Wright, which occurred on Saturday 2/9/2017 in Peckham, London (UK).

Loving daughter of Bob Oguya (formerly Serena Hotels) and Julia Oguya (formerly of DBK), of Nyalunya Village, Kolwa Central, Kisumu County. Cherished sister of John Liech, Mark Simba (U.S), Allan Mboya (Karibu Homes) and Daniela Odaa (UK). In-law of Jennifer, Collin and Belinda. Dotting aunty of Julie and Raphael. Adorable niece of the late Gilbert Oyier, George Ndege, late Wellington Ogwang, Mary Omwango, Charles Okwanyo, Joshua Arodi, Nahashon Oguya, Dorothy Deya, Susan Omondi, Damaris Mumbo, Salome, Olisa, Roselyn amongst many others. Granddaughter of the late Okwanyo and Roselida, the late Simeon and Christabel Mboya. Cousin and enchanting friend to many.

Funeral arrangements are on-going daily at her parents’ home Madaraka Estate, Weche Court, MF 41 G, from 5.00pm. A mini fundraiser towards repatriation of her body home will be held at the same venue on Wednesday 13/9/17 from 5.00pm.All are welcome.
