It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mercy Jeptanui Rutto, which occurred on 19/10/2023 at Mercy Hospital – Eldama Ravine, after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Mr. Bundotich Rutto and the late Martha Bundotich of Chemelil Village, Koibtek Ward, Baringo County.

She was beloved sister to late Phyllis, Lina, Kiplagat, Kiprono, Kiprop, Kipkoech, Celline, Kipkogei, Kipkurui, Jebiwott, Jelimo, Kipchirchir and Kiptoo.

Sister-in-law to Pastor Stephen Rutto, Sally Kiplagat, Clare Koech, Maxine Jerono Kogei,

Beloved Aunty to Kimalel, Jepkem, Brian, Jemu, Charvez, Kipsang, Jerono, Kibet (Kiki), Moses, Joy, Nicole, Kemboi, Kimu, Derrick, Shirleen, Kabush, Israel, Shannel, Micah, Princess and Shantel. She was Cousin to many.

Friends and family are meeting at her home daily for burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave War Memorial Hospital – Nakuru on 28/10/2023 at 9.00am for burial service at her home in Chemelil Village.
