Michael Gitagama Waithaka

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Michael Gitagama Waithaka, which occurred on the early morning of 25th December, 2022.

He was the loving son of the late Waithaka Mucau and the late Pauline Njeri.

Beloved husband to Alice Waithera Gitagama. Dear father to Stephen Waithaka, Njeri, Gathu, Wambui, Kimani, Njomo, Kariuki, Mary, Mocuku, Mwathi, Nduta, Wangare, Wanjiku and Wanjiru. Grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

Brother to Mary Njeri, the late Joseph Gacau, Teresia Wangare, Patrick Kariuki (PAKAWA), Grace Wanjiru, Pastor Mwathi, Ann Njambi, Martha Wangui and Lucy Wanjiku.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Matunda for prayers and funeral arrangements from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Cherangani Funeral Home – Kitale on Friday 30th December, 2022 at 9:00am to Matunda, Mois Bridge. The funeral service will be held at his home followed by final interment at his farm.
