Michael Kavyu Mutua

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s Will and deep sorrow that the family wishes to announce the death of Michael Kavyu Mutua of the Catholic Diocese of Kitui (C.D.O.K) on 3rd October after long illness.

Son of the late Joseph Mutua Mula and Rose Nduni Mutua. Husband of Florence Munzi of Kitui County CDF and Loving father of Joe Michael Mutua and Rose Ndanu Mutua. Brother of the late Lucy Syombua, the Late Dominic Musyoka, Gabriel Wambua, Prof. Makau Mutua, Abdul Malik Mutua, Samira Mutua and Pius Maina Mutua. Son-in-law of the late Francis Musyoka Ndole and the late Rose Kambua Musyoka. Brother-in-law of Fredrick Mwaniki, Ann Mwikali, Dinnah Mutanu, Stephen Kioko, Mercy Kanini, Janet Mutheu, Prof. Athena Mutua, Rose Kathini, Mercy Nehema and Beatrice Gabriel Mutua.

Uncle of Mueni Mutua, Jueria Abdul, Gloria, Joachim, Veronica, Emmanuela, Lumumba, Amani, Mwalimu, Mandela, Brian, Kitheka, Rose, Kavata, Yusuf, Aisha, Suleiman, Rooney, Sila, Malia, Musembi, Maurice, Betty, Safari, Mueni, Mutua, Makau, Musyoki, Saida, Johra, Mohammed, Warda, Yassir, Tush, Eddie, Tony, Gandhi, and Giovanni. Mercy, Abel, Dennis, wards, Amani, Ashley, Mwende, Cate, Dennis, Shawn, Faith, Hafswa, Abdulhamid and Makau Jr. were his Grand Nephews/Grand nieces.

The Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his home in Kitui, the Heritage hotel Kitui and Nairobi.

The funeral service will be held at his home in Niini Village, Kitui by the C.D.O.K on 11 October 2019.
