Dr. Michael Munyao Ngunnzi

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of Dr. Michael Munyao Ngunnzi, formerly of National Public Health Laboratories and former Deputy Director, KMTC.

Son of the late Nicholas Munyao Nguva and Margaret Mutave Munyao of Kitandi Sub-Location, Kasunguni Location, Makueni. Beloved Husband of Dr. Joan Ngunnzi – Minister for Youth and Sports in Embu County, father of Kevin Kyalo, James Musembi, Flanzie Angatia, Victory Musuviwa and Emanuel Baraka (JKUAT). Brother of Sr. Teresia Muendi of ASN, Boniface F. Makau, Regina Jonathan, Matilda Nyivu, Francescah Mutinda, Dr. Thomas Mutuku of UoE and John Wambua of KNH. Step-brother of George Muange, Cecilia Ndeto (deceased), Faustine Masila (deceased), Francis Mwania (deceased), Onesmus Kioko and Benedict Kivuva. Brother-in-law of Theresia Makau, Dr. Damaris Mutuku of Moi Univ. and Ruth John.

Friends and relatives are meeting every evening on weekdays up to Thursday 13th February at the Norwich Union Building at the Junction of Mama Ngina and Kimathi Streets, opposite Hilton Hotel, for funeral arrangements. A Harambee will be held at the same venue on Wednesday 12th February.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home along Mbagathi Road at 7 am on Saturday 15th February 2020 for funeral service and burial at his home in Kitandi Village, Makueni County.
