Michael Nderitu Bachia

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Michael Nderitu Bachia of Der) Group, Nairobi, which occurred on 26/06/2023 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of Wambui Bachia of Gichiche, Chinga Location, Othaya. Brother to Catherine Njoki.

Grandson to the late John Bachia & Lilian Njoki. Nephew to the late Peter Ndirangujoyce Wacici, Kairu Bachia, Margaret Kairu & Nellie Wambui, David Kanyi & Grace Njeri (USA) and Teresa Wanjiru & Mureithi Kabugua (USA).

Cousin to John Bachia & Diana Wangui,Arch. Jacqueline Njoki, Dr. Angela Wairirnu, Abigail Njoki,Valentine Wambui & Renaldo D’Souza, Christian Bachia, Caroline Muthoni, Joan Njeri, Lisa Njoki,Wandia, Maina and Kuria Mureithi (USA), Brooke, Jonathan and Jacob Kanyi (USA).

He was uncle to Ava Wacici and Nora Muthoni Bachia and Sienna Muthoni D’Souza.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Castle Garden (past Roasters), Thika Road for the funeral arrangements from Tuesday, 27/06/2023 to Friday, 30/06/2023 and Monday, 3/07/2023 and Tuesday 4/07/2023 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, 5/07/2023 at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church opposite Safari Park Hotel at 2:30pm.

The cortege leaves Uhai Neema Funeral Home next to Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani, on Thursday, 6/07/2023 at 7:00am for the final burial rites to be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gichiche, China location, Othaya. Thereafter to the final resting place in the family homestead next to the Church.

In God’s arms Nderitu rests, and in our hearts he will forever remain.
