It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Milton Akotsi Omoto, who passed away on 6th September 2023.
Son of the late Ezekiel Omoto and the late Mama Yakobet Kwena.
Husband to Agneta Nekesa Mutanda and Miriam Akinyi Ojwang. Father to Edgar Omoto, Evans Mutanda, the late Norah Akotsi, the late Dixon Bwire, Maureen Betty, Nicholas Mwangi, Joel Omotto, Monica Betty, and Doreen Were.
Father-in-law to Angellah Achungo, Wilfridah Inyangala, Christabel Nandwa, Dr Ben Agaya, Eric Juma, and Josephat Bahati. Grandfather to Victor, Mark, Ethan, Andy, Michaela, Bradley, among others, Great Grandfather to Asian.
Brother to Ludiah Were, the late Miriam Nungo, the late Yuniah Nungo, the late Wilberforce Onyango, the late Canon Hannington Nyangoro, the late Yesteri Atsieno, the late Airen Salome, the late Owino, the late Fridah Sisia, and the late Margaret Akotsi.
Cousin to Authur Olwalo, Yona Weunda, the late Ibrahim Nungo, the late Joseph Olwalo, Aggrey Were, the late Saulo Akotsi, the late Peresca Apondi, among others.

Brother-in-law to the late Grace Onyango, Alice Omoto, Mary Onyango, the late Edward Wandera, the late Dr Martin Oduori, the late Julia Wabwire, James Mutanda, Melisa Wandera, Edwin Mutanda, the late Gideon Ndeda, the late Nelson Obura, the late Chrisology Ojwang, the late Daudi Hadondi, Kepha Masiga, jacklin Asudi, among others.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at his residence in Busia and in Nairobi.
There will be a fundraising at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, on Tuesday 19th September 2023 from 5:30 pm.
The cortege will leave for his home, Bukhakhala Village, Butula Sub-county, Busia County on 22nd September, 2023. The funeral service will be held at Bukhakhala Primary School grounds on Saturday 23rd September, 2023 and Mzee Akotsi will thereafter be laid to rest at his home.
