Miriam Waithira Gathigi (WaGathigi)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Miriam Waithira Gathigi (WaGathigi) which occurred on 28th December 2021.

Daughter of the late Jidraph Gathigi and Mary Wambui of Muthumu Wangige. Mother to Irene Muthoni, Michael Njoroge, Rose Mary Wambui of ManPower Networks Limited and the late George Gathigi and James Njuguna.

Sister to Kamondia, Wanjiku, Wamaitha and the late James Njuguna and Stephen Kinuthia. Grandmother to Njuguna, Eliza, Duncan, Michelle, Angel, the late Ian Kangara and many others. Great grandmother to Alicia and Wendy.

Friends and family are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at her home in Ruai.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Monday, 3rd January at 8:00AM for a funeral service at her Ruai home at 10AM and the burial thereafter at her home.
