Moffat Mburu Kamau Mugwe

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Moffat Mburu Kamau Mugwe who rested on 2nd May 2023.

Son to the late Mugwe Gathundu, Hannah Waithira, Lucy Njeri and Muhiki. Brother to William Kamau Mugwe, Gitau Mugwe and others.

Husband to the late Nancy Wacu and Josphine Wambiu. Father to Stephen, Waithira, Richard, Wacuka, Margaret, Alice, Gerald, Rachel, Mary and Salome. Grandfather to Moffat & Francesca, Nissi, Waitherero, Wacu, Matthew,Andrew, Catherine & Denis, the late Njoka, Sante, Taddia, Weza, Leo, Leona, Leon and Abigail. Great Grandfather to Nova-Lynn, Gabriel, Zera, Shamiri and Chaziel. Uncle to many.

Brother-in-law to the late Gichia, Alice, Theuri, the late Ruthi, the late Nganga and the late Wambui.

Father-in-law to Comfort, the late Cege wa Nyambura, Patrick, Debra among others.

The cortege departs Montezuma Monalisa Thika road on Thursday, 11th May 2023 at 8:00am. The Funeral service will take place at the St Stephen’s ACK Kariani church and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home in Kariaini village, Githima location, Kigumo Division, Murang’a County.

Meetings are taking place in his home in Kariaini, Murang’a and in Nairobi.
