It is with humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the passing on of Monica Jepwambok Rono of Barasendu Village, Nandi Hills Sub-county, Nandi County. Formerly of Nandi Hills, Town Council.

Beloved wife of the late George Rono. Mother of Wilfred Rono (KRA – Kisumu), Gilbert Rono (Komotony Primary School), Celestine Rono Kimeto (Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency – Nairobi), Oscar Rono (KPLC – Kericho) and Paula Rono (DPP – Nairobi).

Daughter to the late Kipketer Rono, the late Martha Rono and Rael Rono of Kapchepyebei of Ng’enyilel, Kipkaren Selia. Daughter-in-law to the late Raphael Keles and Christine Keles of Kaptilol, Kobujoi.

Sister to Sarah, the late Kimisoi, the late Thomas, Simian, the late Paul, Mary, the late Shadrack, Florah, Hellen, the late Mirriam and Janet.

Sister-in-law to the late Cosmas, Lawrence, Augustine, Alexander, Eddah, Patricia, Julia, Mary and Teresa.

Mother-in-law to Edwin Kimeto and Jospine Rono. She was blessed with several grandchildren.

There will be a fundraiser today Wednesday 9th August, 2023 as from 3.00pm at her home in Barasendu Village, Nandi Hills.

The cortege leaves Samaritan funeral home Kapsabet on Thursday 10th August 2023 at 11.00am for memorial service at St. Mathias ACK Church – Barasendu. The Funeral service will be on Friday 11th August 2023 at her home Barasendu, Nandi Hills, Nandi County.
