Monica V. Owiti

It is with profound grief and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Monica V. Owiti which occurred early morning of 15th May, 2023.

She is a devoted wife to Dr Fredrick R. Owiti of Chiromo Lane Medical Centre, and former senior lecturer, University of Nairobi’s Medical School, Psychiatry department.

Monica is the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Henderson Vukomba of Gweru, Zimbabwe. She is Sister to Florence Dakwa, Fortune, the late Asher, Lucy, Margaret, and Henderson jr.

She is loving mother to Arthur Owiti, Michael Owiti, Sheila Owiti and Victor Owiti.

And Auntie to Akoth, Uni, Dousy and Dino Omondi.

Caring grandmother to Joel, Imani, Joy, Arny, Liam & Lial.

There will be a fundraising to prepare for her funeral, at 5.00pm on Tuesday on 23rd May, 2023 at All Saints Cathedral.

Her Memorial service will be held at 12 noon,All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Thursday 25th of May, 2023.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 26th May, 2023 at 12 noon for burial at Langata Cemetery Nairobi.
