Morris Muiruri Maina

It is with profound sadness and sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Morris Muiruri Maina, who until his death was the Operations Manager, Madison General Insurance Kenya Limited.

Morris was the firstborn child of Teacher Maina Morris Muiruri and Lucy Waithira Maina.

He was the loving husband to Ann Immaculate Mwikali and adoring and present father to Ashley Waithira (BG Ngandu Girls), Jeremy Migwi (Sukari Presbyterian School) and Felicia Syombua (Lelani School).

Morris was the brother to Morris Gitau, Priscah Nduta, Morris Ndaguri, Morris Mwangi, Morris Mungai and Morris Kamau.

Son-in-law to Simon Kitoti and Felister Kitoti. He is the brother-in-law to Assenath Gichugu, Patrick Kariuki, Leah Wanja, Lydia Nyambura, Apovia Muthoni, Peter Kitoti,Thomas Kitoti, Michael Kitoti, Joseph Kitoti, Lucia Kitoti, Teresiah Kitoti, the late Francisca Mutave and the late Margaret Nduku.

Morris was the uncle to Yvonne Murugi, Valerie Waithira, Kennan Maina, Kennisha Waithira, Sharon Waithira, Melvin Maina, Ian Maina, Natalia Waithira, and Claire Waithira.

Family and friends are meeting at his father’s home in Sabasaba, Gikeu Village, Kahumbu Ward, Murang’a County as well as at Morris’ residence in Mitikenda, Ruiru.

The main meetings are being held at Greensport Gardens, Eastern Bypass (Kamakis), Including a candlelight vigil in honour of our beloved son/brother/friend which is being held today (Tuesday, 3rd January, 2023) at 6:30pm.

Morris will be laid to rest on Thursday, 5th January, 2023 at his father’s home. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Road) at 8.00am for Sabasaba, Gikeu Village.
