It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Moses Ndung’u Chege of Kenya Police Service (DCIO), which occurred on 05/05/2022 at Mediheal Hospital in Nakuru, after a short illness.

Son of the late David Chege Njoroge and the late Mary Njeri Njoroge of Orkalou (Kianda Village). Son-in-law to David Mugwe and the late Milka Wambui of Kitiri Scheme, North Kinangop. Beloved husband to Jane Nyambura Ndung’u. A cherished father to Bob Chege, Victor Mugwe and Ian Ng’ang’a. In-law to Virginia Wangari and a father-in-law to Mercy Wangari, grandfather to Liam Ndung’u Chege.

A brother to Gideon Ndung’u (Nakuru), Charles Thuo (Thika), the late Sammy Njogu, the late Bonanza Njane, the late Peter Ndirangu, Joseph Kuria (Olkalou), Stephen Igamba (OI’kalou), David Njane (Naivasha), David Njenga (Maralal), Julius Ng’ang’a (Nyeri), Samuel Njane (Orkalou), Beatrice Waithera (Ndemi), Miriam Wangari (Ndundori), Leah Wairimu (Nyeri), Ruth Ngendo (Ngania), Elizabeth Wangari (Rongai), Hannah Wambui (Kitengela), Miriam Wairimu (Orkalou), Esther Wanjiku (Nairobi).

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home (ha Mumbi) for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home (Nakuru) on 13th May 2022 at 8.00am, for funeral services and burial at his home {Kwa Mumbi village} in Olkalou, Nyandarua County.
