Mrs. Edith Wanjiru Kiarie

1927 – 2023

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Edith Wanjiru Kiarie of Gachie Village, Kihara, Kiambu County, after illness.

Wife of the Late Mr. Eliud Kiarie Mutembei.

Daughter to Late Gichuri Waruingi and Late Serah Njeri Gichuri of Gathanga Village. Sister to Late Wambui Gakingo, Late Wahu Curua, Late Mary Githama Mwangi (Nana), Late Douglas Waruingi (Komu) and Late Francis Kimani.

Mother to Mathew Gichuri, Edwin Waruingi, Late Robert Kimani, Elvis Wamuti, Grace Wambui, Late Franco Kinuthia, Mary Wariara and Stephen Gitau.

Mother-in-law to Mary Wambui, Hannah Njoki, Pauline Njoki, Cllr. Peter Nyutu (Mohamed),Veronica Wangui, Late Njuguna Karanja and Catherine Wambui. Auntie, Cousin, Grandmother and Great grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at 5.00 p.m. at her Gachie home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nairobi Adventist Hospital Mortuary (Kwa Murong’a) in Gachie on Thursday 13th April 2023 at 9.30 a.m. for funeral service at 11.00 a.m. on the same day at St. James ACK Church, Ribarori, Gachie and burial later at her home in Gachie (Kiuna Road).
