18th May 1934 – 15th May 2023
We, the family of Mrs. Mary Agnes Njambi Ngugi, wishes to convey our sincere gratitude and appreciation, for the overwhelming support and condolence messages, on the occasion of the transit to the House of our Father, of one who was a dear wife, mum, grandmum, mentor and friend. A beautiful soul.
We are particularly grateful for so many people who offered many prayers in the different stages of her illness. We give thanks for all the masses and prayers offered for her soul. We have felt your consolation.
Immense gratitude to all the doctors and health-care providers who accompanied Mum in her many years of illness: Dr Daniel Githegi her personal doctor, all the nurses who took care of her, and all who attended to her.
We thank the priests who attended to her spiritually during her illness, relatives and friends who called or visited to encourage her. We thank in a singular way, the Funeral Organizing committee; the Archdiocese of Nyeri, Priests, Religious and laity who held us up throughout; the Central Bank of Kenya; the liturgy committee and the choirs; the various Catholic lay associations especially the CWA; all those who offered donations and contributions; and our friends who outdid themselves to accompany us in amazing ways. We wish to thank you all for the great turnout to pray and give a fitting farewell to our dear Mum.
Finally we thank the Apostolic Nuncio, all the Bishops and the priests who honoured her with their presence and prayers. Thank you our shepherds, for this kind gesture. May the Lord bless you all and reward you abundantly.
May her soul rest in eternal peace. Amen.
