It is with deep sadness and the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mrs. Rachel Nyasi Makoko Kimbio (Ranya), which occurred on 13.01.2026 at Kenyatta National Hospital. She retired from Postal Corporation of Kenya in 2012, where she had worked for 35 years.
She was the wife of Mr. Juda Makoko Mwadime Kimbio, daughter of Mrs. Janet Manena Mwajala Mwachoo and the late Mr. Hubert Mwanjala Mwachoo. Daughter-in-law of the late Theophile Mwadime Kimbio and the late Teresita Chari Mwadime Kimbio of shimba hills.
A devoted mother of Chari Mwadime & Kihu Karumba, the late Manena Mwadime (Manesh) and Shali Grace Mwadime.
Grandmother of Sere Kirid, Lukundo Ranya,Waweru Mutua, Yuddah Mutua. Hen Kihu, Weza Kihu and Enzi Kihu.
Sibling of Margaret Chao Kimwele, the late Grace Wakesho Macharia, the late Mary Wawuda Mutua, Deborah Wacheghu Nyambu, Samuel Mwachoo Mwaniala, Elizabeth Wavua Mwanjala and Rebecca Wambugha Mwaniala
She was a sister-in-law of Muema Kimwele, the late Peter Macharia, Anthony Mutua, Godfrey Nyambu, Florence Mwicigi,Christme & the late Paul Kisochi, Joseph & Rachel Mwachanya, Stella Kimbio, Alphonse & Roselyne Mwandighi, Rosemary & Bongosa Mcharo, the late Shete Kimbio & the his wives the late Maria, Riziki and Emona Kimbio, Mwamadi & jackline Mwadime, Juliet & jarnin Ngalula, Seraphine & Lawrence Mwashumbi, Dominica & Job Bushebi, Peter Mwadime, Dorothy Mwadime & the late Melvin, the late Mwashuma Kimbio and many others.
She was a grandchild of the late Cannon Stephen Kiteto & the late Mrs Grace Wakesho Kiteto and the late Mr. & Mrs. Mwachoo She was a niece, cousin, aunty, grandmother and friend of many.
Friends and family will meet at All Saints Cathedral on Monday 19.01 2026 from 5.00pm-8.00pm.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday 20 01.2026 at Citam Valley Road from 2 00pm -4.00pm and the funeral will be in lkanga, Voi on 23.01.2026 at 9.00am
