It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Rael Mwari Riungu of Darima Events, that occurred on MI March 2023 at Consolata Hospital Gitoro after a courageous & brave battle with cancer.

Daughter to the late Gideon Minoti (Kaska), the late Jeniffer & Rebecca Regeria of Mugae Village Kibirichia, Buuri East, Meru County.

Loving wife of Daniel Riungu Mathiu (Darima Events). A cherished Mum to Anthony & Diana Kirea (Meru), Ann Mary Gatwiri (USA), Jeniffer Nkatha (Nrb), Jackline Kendi & Eric Mugira (Nrb), Gideon & Carol Mburugu (Nrb). Dotting grandmother to Doreen, Mark, Melanie, Cecilia, Reuben, Benjamin, Kirk, Mugambi and Tamara.

Sister to the late Tabitha & M’Muguna, the late Grace & Rugwaru, Peter &Winfred Kiruki, the late Joyce & Zablon Muriuki, Elijah & Fridah kaburia, Zacharia & Nduru Menene, Jeremiah & Catherine Mungatia, Daniel & Kanana kirea, Kathambi & Muriungi, Henry & Susan, the late Kirimi & Lydia kirirni,Anthony & Agnes Mbaya James & Salome Mwiti.

Beloved-in-law to the late Mathiu & Charity M’ringera of Ncooro village. Sister-in-law to Monica & the late Kirnathi. Endearing friend and Aunt to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and burial preparations at their home in Kaaga, Meru Town, from 4 o’clock. The cortege will leave Meru Funeral Home at 8 o’clock on 6th April 2023 for the funeral service at MCK Gitoro Interdenominational Church (show ground) followed by burial at their Subuiga Home at MatundaVillage, Kisima Ward, Buuri Sub-County.
