MUMBI MATHIA MUIGAI
It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mumbi Mathia Muigai.
She was the treasured wife of Joe Mathia Muigai. Loving mother to Ngina and Kent, Muigai and Saff, Wambu and Jean. She was the doting grandmother to Mumbi, Ellie, Ngina, Leo and Cara.
Daughter to the late Eliud and Nyokabi Mathu, and daughter-in-law to the late James and Ngina Muigai. Beloved sister to Wambui, Wanjiru and Warui, the late Ngugi and Wahu, Njoki and George, Wanjiku, Ngina, Nyoike, the late Kamau and Wangui, and the late Kimani.
Dear sister-in-law to the late Daniel and Beth, the late Muturi and Eunice, the late Muturi and Beatrice, the late Kihanya and Margaret, the late Nicholas and Senator Beth Mugo, the late Ron and Pauline West, Ngengi and Wangui, Captain Kungu and Mwihaki, Kibathi, Kui Briggs and Amb. Catherine Mwangi. She was a loved cousin, aunt and friend to many.
There will be a celebration service at the family home in Kileleshwa tomorrow Sunday 3rd September 2023 at 3.00 pm – 5.00 pm.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday 6th September 2023. Details of the funeral will be announced later.

Heartbroken by Mumbi’s passing. May the Almighty God give the family comfort, peace an hope to move on without her. See you soon my friend Mumbi, RIP.
