Mwalimu Daniel Juma Mumbo

It with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mwalimu Daniel Juma Mumbo on 26th June, 2019. He served as a teacher at Kambare High School, St. Mary School Yala, Kenya Science Teachers College, Starehe Boys Centre and Chianda High School.

He was the son of the late Mzee Jashon Wilfred Mumbo and the late Mama Wilkistar Nyarombe Mumbo. Son in law of the late Jonathan Okungu and the late Mama Sellar Okungu. Husband of Dorothy Atieno Juma and loving father of Wilfred, Sospeter, Caroline, Sharon and Janet; and grandfather to Abby. Brother of Maj. (Rtd) Joel, Joan, Samuel, the late Dr. Gordon, the late Ezekiel, the late Benson, Elijah and Margaret.

Brother-in-law of Judith, Alice, the late Rose Ngeso, the late Margret, the late Rose Misigah, Ursula Mumbos, the late Percival Saka and the late Alfred (Yuma, Julius Okungu, Dorris, Pamela, Leah, Okello, Zacharia, Dickson, Teresa, Ogwel, Anyango and Ondolo. Uncle to Tom, John, Jack, Jason, George, Brian, Ochieng, Onyango and many others.

The Cortege leaves Star Hospital Kisumu M on Friday 12-7-2019 at 10.00am for Church service at 12 noon at All Saints ACK Ong’eche Church Katho Location, Kobura Ward, Nyando Sub County, Kisumu.

The burial will take place on 13th July, 2019 at his home in Ong’eche Clan, Katho Location.
