We are saddened to announce the passing on of Mwalimu Ephraim Okal Ojwang, which occurred on 16th May, 2023 after a long illness.

Son of the late Mzee Hezekiah Ojwang, and the late Mama Elizabeth Ojwang.

Husband to Jane Akoth Arara. Father to Captain Evans Tsombe, Fancy, June and Felix.

He was uncle to Charles, Warren, Patrick, Zab of City Court, Kenneth, George and Sankira of U.S.A Erick Caleb, Gregory, Samwel, Enock, Pastor Wilfred, Sherald, Owuor Ominde, Luke, Geoffrey, Francis, Michael Justus. Eng. Hillary, Achieng, Hon. Jackline Ojwang of Thika Law Courts, Hon. Tom Raila (MCA Mfangano Island), Valentis Koti, Major Wasulwa, Okayo, Elekiah, Love, Lorry, and Lowell and many others.

Brother-in-law to Susan,Wilkista, Mical, Rispah, Grace, Purity Gacheri, Bessy Gacheri and many others.

Brother to Ruth Otieno, Maxon, the late Festus, the late Moses, the late Daniel, the late Calleb, Isaiah, the late John, Josiah, the late Okus, Okeyo, Odero, Johnson, Eric Aoga,Wakili Paul of Attorney General’s Chambers, Okinyi, Ogweno, Hon. Sharon, Mbuta, and many others.

Grandfather to Jeremy, Kelse, Daillan, Adrian, Kayleigh, Andy Ephraim, Darnell and Liyana.

He was the father in-law to Ochieng Kenya, Susan, Phillip and Daisy.

Brother-in-law to Mzee Otieno Makemo, Pius, Calleb, Meressa, Rispah, Ruth, Belli and Beatrice.

The cortege will leave Kirindo Mortuary on Wednesday, 7th June, 2023 at 10.00 am and he will be laid to rest on 8th June, 2023 at Uozi Village, Mfangano South, Suba Central, Sub-County.
