Mwalimu Hezekiah Chege Nganga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mwalimu Hezekiah Chege Nganga.

Son of the late Paul Wanganga and the late Serah Wanjiru (Kamwangi Village, Mangu). Husband of the late Mwalimu Rosemary Wangari Chege. He hails from Mukurwe village Mangu – Gatundu North. Father of Peter and Emma Ng’ang’a – Kahawa Sukari, Jane Wanjiru Mbugua (Principal Gacege Secondary school), Lucy and the late Andrew Waititu, Peter and Alice Njuguna (Mangu – Nakuru), Nancy and the late John Kago and Hellen Waithira Warugu of Karatina University. He was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Brother of Ven. John Kago, the late Joseph Kabuina, Peter Mwaura, Margaret Wangari Mwicigi, Margaret Nyambura, Ruth Wambui Kinyanjui and the late Elizabeth Waithera Muitherero.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily at his home in Mukurwe from 3pm and at Peter Neang’a Cege’s home at Kahawa Sukari at 7pm on Wednesday and Thursday.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday 11th August 2018 at 8.30am. The funeral service and burial will be held at his Mukurwe home, Mangu starting at 10.30 am.

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Praise be his name.
