Mwalimu John-Baptista Kariithi Njeru

It’s with profound regret and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mwalimu John-Baptista Kariithi Meru.

Son of the late Njeru Wahome and the late Anna Muthoni Njeru. Son in-law of late Samuel Kanyi Chiuri and Prisca Wanjugu Kanyi of Karura Village, Magutu Location. Brother of late Mutahi, late Wanja, Macheru and Wahome. Cousin of the Gaturas. Husband of Mary Wangui Kariithi. Father of George Njeru, Anna Muthoni, Dr. Sammy Kanyi and Catherine Ndisho. Father-in-law of Esther Njeru, Trizah Kanyi and Hassan Ndisho. Grandfather of Newton Njeru, Diana Njeru and Ezra Njeru, Innocent Mbani and Victor Mwangi, Patriciah Kanyi and Saphida Kanyi, Jaffery Ndisho, Marvin Ndisho and Savannah Ndisho. He hailed from Gikumbo Village, Mathira East Sub-County.

Friends and Relatives are meeting from 5.30pm at St. Andrews Church, Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements on Thursday and Friday and at his home in Shauri Mwoyo, Gikumbo Village.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary on Monday 17th December, 2018 at 9.30 am followed by a funeral service at Gikombo Catholic Parish at 10.00a.m. Thereafter burial at his home in Shauri Mwoyo.
