Mwalimu John Kibe Tiras

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mwalimu John Kibe Tiras. He went to be with the Lord on 13th July, 2023 after live well lived.

Loving husband to Zaweria.

Son to the late Tiras Mwaniki and the late Mary Wanjiru. Brother to the late Beatrice, the late Diana, the late Onesmus, Daniel and the late Elizabeth.

Beloved father to Mary (National Council For People With Disability), Margaret (Deputy Principal, Njoro Day Secondary and Engineer Waithaka (EastRoad Enterprises), the late Cyrus and Bancy (Murang’a Hospital), Boniface (Principal, Langata West Pri-school) and Jane (Nairobi River, Pri-School.

He was grandfather to Brenda, the late Joseph, Betty, Peter, Maureen, Lynn, Jackline, Ian, Caroline and Teddy. Great grandfather to Jayson, Jayden, Nathan, Augustine, Neema and Johnson. He was Uncle and Cousin to Many.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and burial preparations at Ruai Gardens in Nairobi and also at Kibe’s residence at Gichiche Othaya.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home in Murang’a on 22nd July, 2023 at 6.30am for Mass at Gichiche Catholic Church. Burial will take place at his residence in Gichiche.
