Mwalimu John Murage Mugo

It is with profound sorrow but also acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mwalimu John Murage Mugo of Kamuiru Village, Kirinyaga County on 21st February 2020.

Son of the late Robert Mugo and Lilian Wamutira Mugo. Loving husband of Mrs Winfred Murage. Father of Patrick Mwangi, Dr Wambui Adebayo (South Africa), Susan Gakuru (Australia), Pamela Murage (UN), and Owen Mureithi. Father-in-law of Josephine (AGT), Prof Yemi Adebayo (South Africa), Dr Gakuru Kigotho (Australia), Olu Sarr and Irene Wanjiru. Grandfather of Al, Binwe, Kemi, Shaun, Hazel, Symere, Ndela, Osteen and Olivia.

The cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital on Tuesday 3rd March 2020 at 9am. The funeral service will be at ACK Church Kamuiru, and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home in Kamuiru.

A fundraiser to offset his hospital bill will be held on Sunday 1st March from 2pm at the ACK Kamuiru church grounds. Paybill 7082127. Reference – your name.
