It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Mwalimu Justus Mulevu Makanda on 17th June, 2022.

Son to the late Jeremiah Makanda Mulandi and the late Dorcas Gathoni Makanda.
Cherished husband to Jedidah Ndululu Mulevu and beloved father to Lois Nzenge, Benard Mike, Franny Muthingu, the late Ann Katheke, Eric Wamulevu, Charles Mbithi, Pricilla Mueni and the late Francis Saili.

Brother to Alice Makau, the late Martha David, Laili Mwaniki, the late Syuvata Mwanzia, the late Dominic Mumo, Maingi Makanda, Eliud Mutua, Newton Mulandi, and the late Mutheke Makanda.

Father-in-law to Nzenge Maluki, Catherine Michael, Rose Eric, Lilian Mbithi and James Maithya and was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The late Mwalimu Justus Makanda will be laid to rest on Saturday, 2nd July, 2022 at the family home in Maliku Village, Katulani Sub-County, Kitui County, starting from 10.00am.

The Lord has given and He has taken. Let the name of the Lord be glorified. Amen
