It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, we are saddened to announce the passing on of Mwalimu Kenneth Ochieng Asoka, which occurred on 24th September, 2023 at Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu.

He was the adored son to the late Ishmael Asoka and the late Evaline Otuoma of Maseno, Kisumu County. He was a loving and respectable son-in-law to the late Thomas & the late Emily Nzingo.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Winnie Ochieng and is fondly remembered as a doting father by Ishmael Ochieng,Violet Ochieng, Patience Ochieng, Naomi Ochieng, Emily Ochieng & Alice Ochieng.

Kenneth was a cherished brother to Naomi, Rosebellas the late Florida, the late Stephen, Elizabeth & Margaret.

Grandfather to Ryan, Shenaya, Gabriella, Leon , Andrew, Levi, Keisha, Noela & Ariana.

He held a special place in the heart of his in-laws; Margaret, Thomas, Mary, Jane. the late Salama, Sarah, Willy, Rose, Luiza & James.

Father-in-law to Elijah,Willis & George. Mwalimu Kenneth was adored by numerous uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Funeral arrangements are currently underway at his home in Maseno.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu at 10..00am on Friday, 13th October, 2023 to his home in Maseno. A funeral mass celebrating his life will be held at his ancestral home in Maseno, Kisumu County on Saturday, 14th October, 2023 starting at 10:30atn. followed by burial ceremony thereafter.
