Mwalimu Matthew Ngugi Kamami

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the promotion to glory of Mwalimu Mathew Ngugi Kamami (Wakamami) of Mang’u Turiru village, Gatundu North Sub-County Kiambu County which occurred on Tuesday, 04/07/2023 after an illness bravely borne.

Beloved son of the late Daniel Kamami Mbuti and the late Mariam Njeri Kamami. Brother to Christina Wanjiru Wainaina, the late Teresia Wanjiku Dereba, Michael Ngigi, the late Peter Kaniaru and Susan Kamami.

Husband to Rosemary Wanjiku Ngugi. Father to Antony Kuria Ngugi,Edwin Kamami Ngugi, the late Peter Kaniaru Ngugi,Josephine Njeri Kanyi and John Wamburu Ngugi.

Father-in-law to Eng. Joel Kanyi, Lydia Irigo Kamami and Jacinta Njeri Uncle to Kelvin Kamai Kaniaru, Judy Kamami, Phylis Njeri Kaniru and many others.

Grandfather to Nyaga Kuria, Ngugi Kamami, Wanjiku Kamami, Kimani Kanyi, Wanjiru Kanyi, Wanjiku Kanyi and many others.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home Mangu Turiru village and at 5.00pm Sagas Restaurant next to Blue Springs Hotel —Thika Road.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Kabati) —Thika Road on Thursday 13/04/2023. Funeral service will be held at 10:00am at St. Francis Primary Mang’u. The interment follows thereafter at his farm in Mang’u Turiru village, Gatundu North Sub-County, Kiambu County.
